Just posted a few record shots of the Jack Snipe and Buff Breasted Sandpiper we saw at Saltholme on Sunday. Also a couple of the Little Egret in flight.
Just noticed on Birdguides that a Waxwing has already arrived on Shetland so thought as they are one of my favourite winter visitors I would post a couple of photos which we took last year. The first sighting for ourselves being on 17.11.09 in our own close and then again on 19.11.09 when these photos were taken.
